Road Transport Operation Policy

Vehicle & Driver Safety

It is the policy of Flascom, to conduct its entire road transportation activities in a manner which will make every effort to properly safeguard all the personnel, equipment, and third parties.

Vehicle Operating Permit

Flascom as a matter of policy will require anyone driving company vehicles to have in their possession a Client vehicle operating permit. All personnel who drive must go through evaluation and attend DDC at time of employment or after any break in service.

Driver Responsibilities:

Ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition prior to operation
Know and understand the Company Transport Responsibilities
Know and understand the Highway Code
Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts
Adhere to procedures for reporting accidents, LTIs, and Near Misses

Alcohol & Drug Policy

Zero Tolerance

Strictly Prohibited

It is a serious offense for any employee to be under the influence of alcohol or in possession of any non-prescription drug while working or residing on any jobsite.

Personnel may be tested at any time
Failure to cooperate with testing is viewed as a positive result
This rule applies to all operations 24/7

Flascom recognizes the risks and hazards existing in the workplace and ensures provision and enforcement of appropriate PPE.
